
张敏博士毕业于新乡医学院临床医学专业,并于北京大学医学部取得医学博士学位。随后,他在伦敦国王学院英国心脏基金会(BHF)卓越研究中心完成博士后培训。目前,张博士是英国心脏基金会研究员及伦敦国王学院心血管生物学高级讲师。
张博士的研究主要聚焦于活性氧(ROS)及其介导的讯号传导在多种心血管疾病中的角色,特别探讨不同NADPH氧化酶(NOX)亚型在病理状态下心脏肥大、重塑、心力衰竭及主动脉瓣钙化中的独特贡献,并关注运动等生理状况下心脏的适应性变化。此外,他亦致力于研究源自传统中医的活性成分及其在心血管疾病中的潜在治疗应用。
